- Caveman. Life-changing instrumental jam band, or just a bunch of sarcastic hippies? The jury is still out.
- Temporary Residence. Home to some great instrumental bands, like the hard-hitting By The End of Tonight.
- ModernThings. Collective of starving musicians who do it for the love, namely Sudara and Ben Montgomery.
- Tool. Well-funded, math-driven rage. It's harder than it sounds, and it sounds impossible. New album out now.

- Luke Chueh. Hilariously depressing paintings and other media. I'll admit it, I'm a sucker for personification.
- Peter Woytuk. Beautiful larger-than-life sculptures. Site design by comrade Ben Montgomery.
- Gaping Void. If you're from anywhere but NYC, you probably find this shit insightful.
- Threadless. Dry wit: the butter to t-shirt's bread. Go buy yourself a couple of these.
- McCarty Photoworks. Capturing action figures and Barbie dolls on their days off.
